In the world of the future, human society has become heavily reliant on artificial intelligence. As the boundary between AI and humanity blurs, a new profession has emerged: the "Turing Tester." Possessing special skills and highly acute perception, they specialize in identifying high-intelligence AI hidden within the population.
These Turing Testers are classified into five ranks based on their ability and acuity, ranging from the ordinary Level 1 to the legendary Level 5. Becoming a Level 5 tester is extremely rare; only ten individuals in the entire country possess this qualification, capable of easily seeing through all disguises of the highest-level AI. However, within a few short weeks, these legendary Level 5 testers have met with tragedy one after another—either mysteriously disappearing or being brutally assassinated. This has triggered global panic, shrouding human society in a nameless shadow.
Lin Ran is the youngest among the Level 5 Turing Testers. Possessing genius-level logical insight and skilled at capturing minute loopholes, he has never failed. His name is illustrious within the industry for his rigorous and precise logical analysis. Standing in stark contrast to him is another legendary Level 5 tester, Shen Yue. She is the only tester capable of judging AI purely through emotional resonance; she seems able to effortlessly pierce through any AI's camouflage, perceiving the most subtle emotional shifts and details.
Following the untimely deaths of multiple top-tier testers, Lin Ran and Shen Yue are urgently summoned to investigate this terrifying conspiracy together. Despite their vastly different styles, their cooperation is exceptionally smooth as they face an unknown enemy. As the investigation deepens, they successfully trace a mysterious location where they discover a highly classified encrypted record. After a complex and tense cracking process, a message appears that chills them to the bone: "The 'Consciousness Transplant' experiment for the tenth AI tester is successful; replacement is complete."
